| Quick Overview | Paracetamol is a antipyretic with pain relieving action that is widely applied for treating cold and flu. Paracetamol blocks the synthesis of prostaglandins in the central nervous system by inhibiting cyclooxygenase that has certain action on the pain centers and thermoregulation. Paracetamol has no adverse effect on the salt-water metabollism in the human body and it doesn't affect gastrointestinal tract. |

| Direction for Use | For Adults and children over 12years: Do not take more than 4000mg* paracetamol per day. For children: Do not take more than 60mg/lg* presented in divided doses of 10-15mg/kg throughout the 24 hour period. Do not take for more than 3 days without asking your doctor. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours. Do not take with any other product containing paracetamol. *Please state equivalent number of doses per day ( e.g. for Paracetamol Tablets 500mg: Do not take more than 8 tablets per 24 hours) |
| Ingredients | Active ingredients of Panadol Coated 30s contains paracetamol 500mg. Formulation containing sodium and aspartame. Before taking this medicine, make sure you consult your doctor if you are taking warfarin or similar medicines used to thin the blood. |
| Contra Indication | When taken as directed, Panadol is virtually free of side effects. Skin rash and other allergic reactions are rare. |
| Caution | Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients in the product. Check with your doctor before use if: you have liver or kidney problems. Please see your doctor if your symptoms do not improve. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Stop talking this medicine and tell your doctor immediately if: 1) you experience allergic reactions such as skin rash or itching, sometimes with breathing problems or swelling of the lips, tongue, throat or face. 2) you experience a skin rash or peeling, or mouth ulcers. 3) you have previously experienced breathing problems with aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, and experience a similar reaction with this product. 4) you experience unexplained bruising or bleeding. *If you take more of the medicine than you should: seek medical advice immediately because of the risk of liver failure. |
