It is available in 6 fruity flavours (mixed flavoured in 1 sachet) which are apple, orange, strawberry, lemon, blackcurrant and mango. Appeton A-Z Kid’s Vitamin C Pastilles is free from saccharin. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a water soluble vitamin which is necessary in the body to form collagen in bones, cartilage, muscle and blood vessels. It also aids in the absorption of iron in our body. Vitamin C is beneficial especially to prevent children from catching common cold and cough. Vitamin C also helps to reduce duration of flu. Apart from that, Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant which protects our body cells from the damage caused by unstable molecules known as free radicals. It’s also found to decrease Helicobacter pylori bacteria, a risk factor to peptic ulcer disease and gastric cancer. |
