| Contra Indication | Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or any of the excipients, active peptic ulcer, phenylketonuria, fructose intolerance. |
| Caution | Unsuitable for phenylketorurics. Patients suffering from bronchial asthma must be strictly controlled during the therapy: should bronchospasm occur, the treatment should be immediately discontinued and appropriate therapeutic measures taken, as necessary. Special caution should be taken in patient suffering from or with a history of peptic ulcer as orally administered acetylcysteine may induce vomiting. Caution is required in patients with histamine intolerance. Patients suffering from hypertension, who are on a strict salt free diet, it is suggested to administer FLUIMUCIL A granules, tablets or other salt free acetylcysteine preparations. The possible presence of a sulphurous odour does not indicate an alteration of the product but is a characteristic of the active ingredient contained in this preparation. It is recommended not to mix other drugs with the FLUIMUCIL A solution. |
